Shave Stein: Backyard Laundry

Back in 1911, Gilbert Toyne, a local Geelong blacksmith, first invented the Rotary Clothes Hoist in Melbourne Australia. Since then, Damp Laundry has been hung out to dry in back yards, high up off Manhattan skyrises and seen blowing in wind through many a countryside..

There is something so distinct and  indulging with the smell of fresh laundry that has spent hours blowing in a breeze. Crisp dress shirts, bed linens and beach towels all seeping with aromas of fresh summer, with fond memories of  running under the draping clothes as a kid.

Taking the time to Clip wooden pins to the wire line to secure your most treasured wardrobe in hopes that summer can offer a gentle breeze and capture this one of a kind fragrance. We have done our best to infuse this scent into this special batch. We think Gilbert would strongly approve!
